OUR Story

Ray Ray's Tacos debuted in 2019 at the St. Helena Farmers Market in Napa Valley with a vision to combine the best of Texas Hill Country cuisine with the fresh and vibrant flavors of Northern California.

Breakfast tacos, scratch-made salsas, and build-at-home taco kits quickly became go-to favorites for both local families and wine country visitors alike.

Today Ray Ray's continues to serve its community through farmers markets, pop-up events, and other creative culinary collaborations. Ray Ray's first brick-and-mortar location will open in downtown St. Helena in 2023.

The Chef

Chef + Owner Rachel Williams (you can call her Ray Ray) moved to Napa Valley with her family to fulfill a lifelong culinary dream of bringing breakfast tacos to Northern California.

After graduating at the top her class at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, Rachel worked on special projects at The Restaurant at Meadowood and The Charter Oak before launching her namesake pop-up in 2019.

Drawing from her favorite Tex-Mex flavors developed while living in the Lone Star State and the southern recipes that shaped her childhood in North Carolina, Rachel serves up a fresh take on tacos for her friends, neighbors, and guests visiting California’s Wine Country.

Main Street can get a little busy so circle around back to Railroad Ave if you’re looking for an extra spot on the street.
